After 22 years in the trucking industry, Tom Grove knew that he wanted to change jobs, but he wanted to do something that he could do for years. He decided to become a barber and attended the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy's barber school since it was the closest to his Hollidaysburg home.  He began working for Fetterholf's Barber Shop in State College, PA after his graduation from barber school.  After his move to Pittsburgh, he began working for Vinnie's Barber Shop in Mt. Lebanon.  He wanted to open his own barber shop and bought Manor Oak Barber Shop in Scott Township in 2011, where he has been providing high quality haircuts and shaves ever since.
